Jane Ciabattari serves as vice president/online of the National Book Critics Circle [www.bookcritics.org], in charge of the Critical Mass blog and social networking. She served as NBCC president from 2008 to 2011. She is a member of the San Francisco Writers Grotto and a co-founder of the [Flash Fiction Collective] reading series. She serves on the program steering committee of the Bay Area Book Festival and on the advisory board of The Story Prize. She is a member (and past president) of the Women's Media Group, and a member of the Authors Guild, PEN and The Century Association.
